Fart Attack 2 boss guide: how to beat all ten Big Stinkers
Fart Attack 2 is ten levels of the same idea: clear enough of the small stuff, then beat the boss. What makes it hard is running out of gas at the wrong moment. This guide gives every boss’s health, what you can and can’t hit it with, and how the ammunition works, so you arrive at each boss ready for it.
AMMUNITION
You have two meters, and each one holds up to 9 shots.
- Beans fill the fart meter. A fart fires backwards and pushes you forwards.
- Fizzy pop fills the burp meter. A burp fires forwards.
- You start the game with 5 of each.
- Each tin you pick up adds 3.
- Beating a boss refills both meters to 9.
So you begin every level after the first with a full load, and a long first stretch to spend it on before the boss. Don’t hoard: the boss fight drops plenty of tins of its own.
WHAT FALLS FROM THE SKY
Tins drop at random through the level. Which kind you get depends on the fight:
| Situation | Fizzy pop | Beans | Gold tin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal play | 45% | 48% | 7% |
| Lady Lavender (farts don’t work) | 80% | 13% | 7% |
| Colonel Cork (burps don’t work) | 15% | 78% | 7% |
The game gives you more of what you need when a boss ignores one kind of gas.
MEGA GAS
The gold tin turns on Mega Gas for eight seconds. While it lasts, your shots cost nothing and you can fire more than twice as fast. It’s the best thing in the game to have during a boss fight, so if a gold tin drops while a boss is on screen, go and get it.
HOW MANY KILLS TO REACH THE BOSS
The boss turns up once you’ve cleared enough enemies. Level one needs 10, and every level after that needs two more, so level ten needs 28.
THE BOSSES
Every hit on a boss, fart or burp, takes off one point of its health.
| # | Boss | Health | Farts | Burps | Bonus for beating it |

| 1 | King Snotty | 10 | Yes | Yes | 1,000 |
| 2 | Lady Lavender | 10 | No | Yes | 2,000 |
| 3 | Sir Sproutalot | 14 | Yes | Yes | 3,000 |
| 4 | Gobby Gus | 16 | Yes | Yes | 4,000 |
| 5 | Lord Phlegm | 18 | Yes | Yes | 5,000 |
| 6 | Captain Capsaicin | 20 | Yes | Yes | 6,000 |
| 7 | Heartburn Harry | 22 | Yes | Yes | 7,000 |
| 8 | Queen Reflux | 24 | Yes | Yes | 8,000 |

| 10 | The Runs | 32 | Yes | Yes | 10,000 |
From the third boss on, a boss has more health than your two full meters hold together. You’ll need to collect tins during the fight, so keep moving under them.
1. KING SNOTTY
Ten hits. He stomps, sneezes bogeys and jumps to send a shockwave along the ground. Burp the bogeys out of the air and jump the shockwave. He’s the only boss you meet without a refill, so pick up tins on the way through level one. With only 10 health, this is the fight to learn the rhythm of fart-and-burp.
2. LADY LAVENDER
An air freshener, so farts bounce straight off her. That leaves 9 fizz for 10 health, which isn’t enough on its own, but four in every five tins in this fight are fizzy pop. Jump and burp, and pick up every can you see.
3. SIR SPROUTALOT
He bounces about and drops baby sprouts every time you hit him. The babies are worth only 25 points each, but they get in the way, so clear them with farts as you go.
4. GOBBY GUS
He spits in threes at head height, with the odd high lob. Burp the spit or jump over it, then fire back while he reloads. Gobs of spit start drifting in as ordinary enemies from this level, too.
5. LORD PHLEGM
He floats overhead, and his globs don’t hurt you, but they leave sticky puddles where they land. A burp can knock a glob out of the air before it lands, so keep the floor clear. Stuck in a puddle, you can barely jump, so walk out of it before you try.
6. CAPTAIN CAPSAICIN
He hops, lands and breathes fire along the floor. A burp won’t put out the flames, so jump them. A fart in mid-air lifts you higher, which helps when he lands right next to you.
7. HEARTBURN HARRY
Columns of fire burst up out of the floor, three at a time: one where you’re standing and one either side. The floor glows first. The moment you see the glow, move further than one column’s width.
8. QUEEN REFLUX
She fountains acid upwards, and every so often it rains acid across the whole screen. Burps clear the drops, so save some fizz for the rain. Acid bubbles also start rising out of the ground from this level on.
9. COLONEL CORK
He’s bunged up, so burps bounce off him and only farts work. He has 26 health against your 9 beans, so most of this fight is collecting. Nearly four in five tins here are beans, so stay under the drops, fart whenever you’re facing away from him, and use the push to get clear of his corks. A gold tin here is worth more than anywhere else in the game.
10. THE RUNS
The final boss has 32 health and bounces all over the screen. Below half health it speeds up, and its landings send out shockwaves. Use most of your gas before it gets to 16, while it’s still slow, and jump every landing after that.
SCORING
- Each enemy has its own value, from 25 points for a baby sprout to 150 for an air freshener.
- Combos multiply. Kill something within about a second and a half of your last kill and the combo goes up by one, and each kill is worth its points times the combo. A fart cloud that catches three things at once scores them at x1, x2 and x3.
- Every hit on a boss is worth 10 points, and beating it is worth 1,000 times the level.
- Every tin you pick up is worth 25 points.
- Lives are worth 5,000 each at the end. You start with 3, get one more for every boss you beat, and can hold up to 5. Arriving at the end with 5 lives is worth 25,000.
